This section of the Satwik Website is dedicated to the memory of Bindi Chexal, co-founder of Satwik Ventures. Bindi believed in pursuing and spreading happiness to all mankind. All the insights in this section were written by Bindi.

Mr. Chexal co-founded Satwik Ventures. Prior to Satwik, over a career spanning 28 years, Bindi was a General Manager at the Electric Power Research Institute. He had been investing in high tech start ups since 1995 and was also a cofounder of D&B Venture Management LLC with Dinesh Gupta. He taught at UCLA as a visiting professor and was also a lecturer at San Jose State University.

Bindi published 110 papers and co-authored 3 books. He also led the development of software program CHECWORKS™ (Chexal-Horowitz Engineering Corrosion Workstation) that is used extensively in more than 300 power plants worldwide. Bindi was a recipient of the George Westinghouse Silver Medal from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). He was a fellow of the ASME and the American Nuclear Society. Bindi has a BS from Thapar Tech in India, an MS from Georgia Tech, and an Executive Management Degree from Stanford University.
